DJ Marlon Flohr and producer Ralph van Hilst are friends from high school. Their contrasting personalities complement each other brilliantly – Marlon is the fierce one, he likes to be the centre of attention on stage and Ralph is the one who prefers to shine behind the stage. Their friendship is a very solid foundation and has birthed an incredible connection between DJ and producer.
The duo exploded on the scene and in 2011, their dance bomb “Mush Mush” was picked up by Tiësto and released on his recording studio Musical Freedom. The song dominated the Beatport Top 10 chart for over two months and was one of the biggest festival tracks of the year. This was a sign of things to come.
Since then, Bassjackers have reached new heights in their career with numerous chart-topping collaborations and hits with Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dyro, R3hab, Snoop Dogg and Showtek, as well as remixes for top artists including Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby and Ne-Ya.
On top of Bassjackers, they continue to tear up stages around the world, wowing crowds along the way. Meanwhile, they have over 2.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and YouTube videos with millions of views.
