MADUK
The first name introduced on the DnB stage is Maduk. This 33-year-old musician from Amsterdam is one of the most promising talents on the drum & bass scene. Maduk won the prestigious Drum and Bass Arena award in 2014. With releases on labels such as Hospital, Viper, UKF, Fokuz and Allsorts, Maduk is proving that he has worldwide support. His own label, Liquicity Records, which he co-founded with Maris Goudzwaard, is one of the biggest players in the liquid drum & bass community.
Maduk is also one half of a successful YouTube channel turned record label – Liquicity, which has grown to build one of the largest liquid drum & bass communities in the world and has played a key role in reaching a new audience for bass music in recent years.
CAMO & KROOKED
Saturday night at Paradise Open Air 2024 will be dominated by Camo & Krooked! This electronic duo from Vienna, consisting of Reinhard “Camo” Rietsch and Markus “Krooked” Wagner, won Best Producer at the 2011 Drum and Bass Arena Awards.
In February 2020 they played a concert with composer Christian Kolonovits and the “Max Steiner Orchestra”, which resulted in the album Red Bull Symphonic.
Their music has appeared in several video games, including the remaster of GoldenEye 007: Reloaded and the soundtrack for 2012’s SSX. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they played various concerts in unusual locations, such as a wind turbine and a balloon. In 2024, you can look forward to seeing them perform at Paradise Open Air!
TEDDY KILLERZ
The third headliner of our festival is the unstoppable trio Teddy Killerz. This trio, consisting of Place 2b, Paimon and Garuda, started their career in 2012 on Bad Taste Recordings and later released on prestigious labels such as OWSLA and Ram Records. Teddy Killerz are known for their ability to create madness on every stage and their shows are getting bigger and harder.
They have played the biggest bass music nights all over Europe and have shared stages with big names like Andy C, Pendulum, Modestep, UZ, I Am Legion, Wilkinson, Koan Sound , Calyx & Teebee, & TC. and many more.
Praised by major radio DJs and magazines including BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM & XFM, Crissy Criss had Killerz do an exclusive mix for his show on BBC 1Xtra and K- Mag has featured a number of releases. OWSLA asked the trio to do two exclusive mixes for the OWSLA Presents series.
