KAAZE, real name <strong>Mick Kastenholt <\/strong>, is a young Swede from <a href=\"https:\/\/sk.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Helsingborg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Helsingborg<\/a> whose career started to skyrocket in 2012<strong> when<\/strong><strong> Ti\u00ebsto<\/strong> noticed him<strong>,<\/strong> appreciated his music and started collaborating with him.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Ti\u00ebsto, Kaaze - Rocky (audio only)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZvBO03sMGrI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b99e75bdaa9bf4b56a248afa04ad1ce1\">At the age of 16, KAAZE&#8217;s musicality led to the discovery of<strong> house music,<\/strong> when his love for DJing and electronic music was awakened. KAAZE&#8217;s early output was driven by a passion for <strong>melodic and progressive elements.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6906559704c3a331138e8d4b8b06cc86\">His music crossed genre boundaries and fused infectious melodies with powerful drops. It was this initial sound in his repertoire of styles that launched his career, first with <strong>Ti\u00ebsto <\/strong>and then with <strong>Hardwell. <\/strong>Subsequently, in 2016, KAAZE signed a deal with <strong>Revealed Recordings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"KAAZE Live @ Revealed Night ADE 2018\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hsJQ3yJ4Unc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0b685850632f7a6dd311753238b68641\">Fast forward a few years, KAAZE&#8217;s career has expanded and he has toured all over the world, has millions of streams and even made his way to <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/djmag.com\/top100djs\/2021\/83\/KAAZE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#83<\/a> <\/strong>in the <strong>Top100DJs Poll. <\/strong>And collaborations with <strong>Steve Aoki<\/strong> and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter <strong>John Martin,<\/strong> for the single <strong>&#8220;Whole Again,&#8221;<\/strong> have catapulted KAAZE to new heights.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d048c515cace2d0582e84ee3f3f88faa\">Last year <strong>2023<\/strong> KAAZE again jumped to<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/djmag.com\/top100djs\/2023\/59\/KAAZE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">59th place<\/a><\/strong> in the world&#8217;s biggest music poll. Another of the milestones of his career was his second album <strong>MICK, which<\/strong> features KAAZE as an <strong>artist<\/strong> and Mick as a <strong>person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Steve Aoki &amp; KAAZE ft. Consisting of a mixture of <strong>techno, progressive and electro elements,<\/strong> KAAZE revealed a more minimal and reflective approach that harked back to the earlier sounds of his production with an emphasis on <strong>club music,<\/strong> reinventing everything from harder sounds to the structure of more refined melodic and lyrically based tracks.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9c4df63858f87f024135b41c5d1e6020\">This new path opened up new but familiar grounds for him to expand his work.
